1.      University of Texas at El Paso on April 2000, working directly with Dr. Carl W. Dirk in the development of in-line electro-optical plastic optical fibers.

2.      Postdoctoral positions from February 1999 to January 31 2000 at Departamento de Física Aplicada y Tecnología Avanzada (FATA) from Instituto de Física-UNAM, querétaro, Qro. Working under the supervision of Dr Víctor Castaño Meneses and Dr. Rogelio Rodríguez on the syntesis and characterizations of luminescent and thermoluminescent materials prepared by sol-gel and the fabrication of dye doped plastic optical fibers.

3.      University of Texas at El Paso from June to August 1999, working directly with Prof. Dr. Carl W. Dirk in the fabrication and characterization of laser dye doped plastic optical fibers.

4.      Fibers optics laboratory of Polaroid Corporation, at Cambridge MA., USA, From July to September 1992. Working in the development of in-line fiber optic modulator for broadband signals.
